What we are looking for:

 

Yazaki is looking for a Process Engineer to join our Manufacturing team in El Paso, TX.  The ideal candidate will enjoy working in a collaborative and action-driven environment making lasting impacts on the organization. 

 

What you will be doing:

 

• • Must create, review and analyze methods to improve manufacturing parameters for a repeatable and reliable process.
  • Create master samples of the assembly line prior to running production.
  • Determine cycle times for an efficient assembly line in order to fulfill production plans.
  • Improve existing processes to avoid quality problems.
  • Create process flow, PFMEA, work instructions, packing standards, etc.
  • Must validate production assemblies using automated or manual testers based on test specifications.
  • Responsible for controlling inventory and supplying material for engineering trials.
  • Support Yazaki affiliates plant with the production process.
  • Train the associates on the process (Maintenance, Production, etc.)
  • Support with new tools designs and process.

 

 

What you will bring to the table:

 

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
• Minimum 5 years direct experience in Manufacturing, production, or related engineering.
• Minimum 2 years experience in Molding, and sensors, relays, servo motors, sylinders, solenoid valves, and coders.
• Ability to travel 20% of the time
• Ability to speak, Read, and write both English and Spanish
• Experience using Microsoft Office Applications
