As a Front Desk Officer with Allied Universal at a premier retail location, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and tenants, providing a welcoming presence while monitoring access to the facility. Pay Rate: $24.95 / Hour

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist visitors, tenants, and/or employees at the front desk, providing customer service in accordance with site-specific policies.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying identification and issuing visitor passes as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal procedures.
• Observe and report any suspicious activity or security-related concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Serve as a point of contact for emergency response activities when appropriate, including alerting building management and first responders as needed.
• Maintain accurate records and logs of all front desk activities, including visitor check-ins and incident reports.
• Communicate professionally with clients, tenants, and/or vendors to address inquiries or direct them to the proper resources.

Minimum Requirements:

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in armed security, law enforcement, or military is required.
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
