Facilities Supervisor - Buffalo Waterfront

PURPOSE STATEMENT

Responsible for overseeing day to day operations tasks of the Buffalo Waterfront including leading staff, identifying priorities, and executing operational tasks. Duties include but are not limited to the operations of the venue including site up keep, logistics, inventory management, and seasonal transitions. 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/OUTCOMES

•    Implementing assigned tasks from the Facilities Manager
•    Direct participation in capital projects as directed by Facility Manager”
•    Assist in maintaining, transporting and storing Zamboni 
•    Perform site snow removal during winter months
•    Perform or schedule routing maintenance on company equipment
•    Maintain inventory including but not limited to machine inventory and maintenance, outdoor furnishings, and all site equipment
•    Repair seasonal furniture and complete small scale site repair projects
•    Identify and communicate inventory or site issues to direct supervisor
•    Coordinate tasks for seasonal transitions
•    Assist with winter set up and construction including the installation of rink infrastructure
•    Maintain inventory storage procedures
•    Overseeing part-time staff and ensuring daily assignments are being completed
•    Maintain accurate work and project logs 
•    Follow and adhere to site procedures

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

Minimum 1 year event operations and management experience or equivalent
Experience in carpentry and using power tools
Mechanical background (small engine or construction equipment)
Ability to work with your hands
Ability to establish effective working relationships with others
Good motor, hand and eye coordination
Good computer skills
 

 

COMPENSATION

 

In accordance with state law, the rate or range provided is Rich Products Corporation, its subsidiaries and affiliates ("Rich's"), reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount may be higher or lower, based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, shift differential, and location.

 

Annual Range/Hourly Rate

$19.28 - $26.68
