Senior Recruiter

The Senior Recruiter is a key member of the HR team at Scoular. The person in this position has responsibility for the full lifecycle recruitment for positions across the organization. This is a high-visibility role, working closely with business leaders, HR partners, candidates, and vendors. The person in this role will drive and lead the adoption of recruiting best practices, be a SME in recruiting technologies, and be a key voice in shaping the recruitment strategy for the organization. The person in this role is part of a dynamic team and will have opportunities to be a part of projects outside of their direct position, based on their individual development goals.

 

Full-Cycle Recruitment & Candidate Experience

• Manage the full cycle of recruiting from sourcing to negotiating offers for positions at all levels across the enterprise.
• Create an outstanding and inclusive candidate experience from initial contact to offer that strengthens our employment brand and aligns with our values.
• Assess applicants’ relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, and experience to evaluate alignment with specific positions and teams, making informed recommendations.
• Communicate regularly and proactively throughout the recruiting process with key stakeholders and candidates.

Strategic Partnership & Pipelines

• Strategically partner with business leaders and HR Partners to develop recruitment strategies for open positions.
• Build and source a diverse candidate pool by utilizing various recruiting strategies such as industry-specific resources, employment agencies, media, and more.
• Create and implement employment marketing and sourcing strategies, utilizing a variety of methods to attract a pipeline of passive candidates.
• Build productive relationships and partner with employees at all levels of the organization.
• Collaborate on talent acquisition and broader organizational HR projects.

Technology & Process Optimization

• Be a subject matter expert on the applicant tracking system, ADP, proficient in all functionalities and leading system enhancements in partnership with our vendors and internal partners.
• Ideate and implement enhancements to the recruitment process and experience to continuously improve candidate and manager experience.

Campus Recruitment & Early Talent Engagement

• Lead the execution of Scoular’s campus recruiting presence across North America for all departments.
• Provide expertise and insight into building the campus recruiting strategy for leaders, people managers, and HR business partners.
• Represent Scoular on campus, on social media, and in the community to attract early career talent.

 

 

Who you are:

• Experienced in full cycle recruitment, with at least 5 years of sourcing, interviewing, and assessing candidate qualifications
• Ability to act with a high degree of integrity, build trust and maintain confidentiality
• Proven experience to prioritize competing responsibilities, managing multiple stakeholders and candidates in a fast-paced environment
• Resourceful and results-oriented attitude using independent judgment to problem-solve, be creative and proactively identify value-added solutions for the teams you support
• Experience working in Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), LinkedIn Recruiter, and other technologies to pipeline and attract talent creatively and proactively
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a track record of driving change through influence

Preferred experience you have:

• Campus Recruitment or building relationships with external organizations
• Internal talent acquisition experience and leading team projects or employee programming
