SHIFT/WAGE:

 

  • 10-hour day or night shift, 4 days per week.  Must be available for any shift.
  • Wage Range: $19-$21/hr.


POSITION SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE
:

 

The Production Operator will perform general production functions and assigned duties.  It is expected that they will perform these functions in a timely fashion to keep production efficient. This position follows standard work methods and practices safe work habits to ensure the process is as efficient and safe as possible.

 

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

 

  • Understand and follow standardized work instructions.
  • Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Operate Powered Industrial Trucks in a safe manner.
  • Prepare and grease packaging (bags, boxes, drums, kits) for packing out the product from the machines.
  • Clean filled containers to be sent to shipping.
  • Prepare product packaging to be used in production.
  • Clean filter plates surfaces and discharge chute.
  • Use a high-pressure washer to remove deposits from the filter press.
  • Complete routine paperwork; ensure proper identification and traceability.
  • Perform routine/incidental maintenance and inspections.
  • Monitor product quality by visual inspection of the product and taking required samples and testing as necessary.
  • Able to lift, push and pull up to 67 pounds occasionally and ascend/descend stairs.
  • Comply with all company/department safety rules and procedures.

 

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

 

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred; or pass a pre-employment screening assessment.
  • 1+ years’ experience in a production / manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
  • Maintain good attendance.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, company policy and procedures as required.
