Location/Hours: Hybrid – 3 days/week in office
All candidates must be within commutable distance of SEO’s offices at 55 Exchange Place, New York, NY 10005, upon hire.

SEO Alternative Investments is an industry-wide program that provides education, exposure, training, and mentorship to help high-achieving professionals be competitive in the industry. Approximately 90% of SEO Alternatives Fellows secure full-time roles in the sector.
POSITION OVERVIEW
The Program Manager, Alternative Investments Fellowship Program (AIFP) supports various aspects of the SEO Alternative Investment Program operations, primarily focusing on managing AIFP. The Project Manager, AIFP will maintain and manage a comprehensive strategic plan that includes marketing, communications, training, and other projects to meet organizational goals and increase the program's overall reach and impact.
Program Operations & Management
- Assume full responsibility for the seamless execution of the AIFP deliverables.
- Develop plans and workflows, including tracking program milestones, delegating tasks, and holding project team members accountable to deadlines.
- Manage program expenses, budget reconciliation, and other related ongoing administrative processes.
- In partnership with the AIFP team, manage event planning and execution, including researching, sourcing, and coordinating with vendors and sponsors to secure venues, catering, and speakers; develop run-of-shows for events and communication plans for participants, partners, and vendors.
- Monitor inboxes and provide timely responses to participant inquiries and questions for our 200+ program participants, and exercise sound judgment in resolving and escalating customer service issues.
- Coordinate and deliver trainings as directed.
- Under the direction of the Associate Director of Alternative Investments, provide oversight and support to part-time AIFP coaches.
- Identify, propose, and manage other initiatives that advance and support SEO Alternative Investments Program’s strategic and operating objectives.
Marketing & Outreach
- Develop marketing and outreach strategies to attract target audience(s).
- Liaise with the SEO Marketing & Communications team to create and share marketing materials via social media, email, partner platforms, and other mediums.
- Conduct research and draft content to increase the efficacy of and engagement with marketing collateral.
Systems & Analytics
- Leverage Monday.com and other project management tools to track and organize program deliverables.
- Create goals and KPIs to evaluate processes and draw insights to inform recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Track program participant data and retain accountability for data accuracy and management.
- Assist with database management by monitoring, collecting, and assessing available data to determine the effectiveness of current programming and messaging; suggest changes accordingly.
- Provide ad-hoc reporting support to the Associate Director of Alternative Investments and other team members as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 3+ years of work experience in a similar operations position; direct experience in nonprofit or educational program management is a plus.
