Data Engineer (Tech Lead)

<h3>Description</h3> <p>Webbing is looking for a Data Engineer – Tech Lead to join the R&amp;D team. </p><ul><li>As a Data Engineer, you will play a key role in building from scratch the data-lake and data warehouse </li><li>You will be required to learn and quickly master new technologies and help define the next generation of the product. </li><li>We’re looking for someone who's passionate about technology and data and has end-to-end experience with data engineering, pipelines, and big data tools. </li><li>An opportunity to significantly influence the future of the Webbing web platform! </li></ul><p><strong>What You’ll Be Doing:</strong> </p><ul><li>Take full responsibility for data modelling, ETL processes, and AI </li><li>Develop and implement new features that directly impact our customers. </li><li>Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical needs. </li><li>Stay plugged into emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them into operations and activities. </li></ul> <h3>Requirements</h3> <ul><li>At least 4 years of experience with Python – <strong>a must.</strong> </li><li>Experience with AWS cloud services: S3, Glue, EMR, Kinesis, Athena, Redshift – <strong>a must.</strong> </li><li>Strong knowledge with Microsoft SQL Server – <strong>a must.</strong> </li><li>BSc in software engineering/ computer science/ equivalent<strong>- a must.</strong> </li><li>Experience with .NET (6 / 7 / 8) <strong> </strong> </li><li>Experience with event-driven architecture. </li><li>Experience in working with microservices, and docker. </li><li>Git Source Control Management. </li><li>An eagerness for building highly resilient and scalable systems with cutting-edge technology. </li><li>Self-motivated, autodidact with the ability to work independently and prioritize. </li><li>Team-player who enjoys collaboration. </li></ul> <h3>About Webbing</h3> <p>Founded in early 2010, Webbing is a global data MVNO that delivers enterprise grade, global connectivity and IoT services across more than 200 countries and 600+ mobile carriers' networks.
