Here’s the Gist
Wolfspeed is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Manager to lead the facilities maintenance team at our new location in Siler City, NC – the world’s largest silicon carbide materials factory. In your role, you will partner with the Facilities Director, Facilities Engineering Manager, and Facilities Ops & Maint Manager to develop and implement a comprehensive maintenance (preventive, predictive, and corrective) strategy within the maintenance organization. You also promote a safety and quality mindset to your teams through continuous improvement of processes, policies, procedures. and reliability programs to ensure uninterrupted facility operations.
The Day-to-Day:
Leads a team varied discipline supervisors and technicians, and support roles.
Oversees maintenance activities of the plant and is accountable for final quality of utilities delivered to internal customers.
Manages the organization to develop & hit key metrics to measure & improve performance.
Participates collaboratively with other leaders in the development of overall objectives and long-term goals of the organization.
Partners with Operations and Engineering to identify, coordinate, and execute planned and unplanned maintenance across site. Mitigates risk points sustain continuous in-spec operation.
Ensures efficient and effective maintenance executed on a variety of systems and equipment.
This Job is Right for You if You Have (Minimum Requirements)
Bachelor’s degree or commensurate work experience.
At least seven (7) years of experience in industrial facilities.
Exudes deep level of knowledge of industrial facilities maintenance and best-practices not limited to HVAC, mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation s
