Here’s the Gist  

Wolfspeed is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Manager to lead the facilities maintenance team at our new location in Siler City, NC – the world’s largest silicon carbide materials factory. In your role, you will partner with the Facilities Director, Facilities Engineering Manager, and Facilities Ops & Maint Manager to develop and implement a comprehensive maintenance (preventive, predictive, and corrective) strategy within the maintenance organization. You also promote a safety and quality mindset to your teams through continuous improvement of processes, policies, procedures. and reliability programs to ensure uninterrupted facility operations. 

The Day-to-Day: 

• Leads a team varied discipline supervisors and technicians, and support roles.  

• Oversees maintenance activities of the plant and is accountable for final quality of utilities delivered to internal customers.  

• Manages the organization to develop & hit key metrics to measure & improve performance.  

• Participates collaboratively with other leaders in the development of overall objectives and long-term goals of the organization.  

• Partners with Operations and Engineering to identify, coordinate, and execute planned and unplanned maintenance across site. Mitigates risk points sustain continuous in-spec operation.  

• Ensures efficient and effective maintenance executed on a variety of systems and equipment.  

This Job is Right for You if You Have (Minimum Requirements) 

• Bachelor’s degree or commensurate work experience.  

• At least seven (7) years of experience in industrial facilities.  

• Exudes deep level of knowledge of industrial facilities maintenance and best-practices not limited to HVAC, mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation s
