The Clinical Advancement Program (CAP) Lead Therapist role is to support the promotion of best practice and rehab clinical excellence (within a particular practice specialty area). The CAP lead therapist additionally manages and provides skilled therapy to patients/clients with a wide variety of diagnoses and disabilities, taking into account the patient's individual physical or age-related needs. The CAP lead therapist requires skills in patient/client evaluation and treatment, be an effective communicator, and be able to provide professional consultations to optimize patient/client outcomes in accordance with the individual's functional level and potential.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree From an accredited occupational/physical/speech therapy program Or
- Master's Degree From an accredited occupational/physical/speech therapy program Or
- D.P.T. From an accredited occupational/physical/speech therapy program
- Coursework/Training Occasionally a position will require specialized occupational/physical/speech therapy training or experience or certifications to meet a particular department need
- Upon hire: Oregon Physical Therapist License Or
- Upon hire: Oregon Occupational Therapist License Or
- Upon hire: Oregon Speech Language Pathologist License Or
- Upon hire: Oregon Speech Language Pathologist Permit
- Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
- 5 years Experience as a Therapist (including 1-3 years with Providence)
- 5 years Specialized occupational/physical/speech therapy training or experience or certifications to meet a particular department need
- 1 year Membership in professional association
