The Opportunity:

The role of the Staff Applications Engineer within the Product Support Engineering team shall focus on providing elevated engineering support for the proper application of LG Residential & Commercial air-cooled products, and O.A & DOAS products, in the US Market. This role will work in conjunction with other functional areas (Sales, Operations, and Marketing) across the US CAC team to deliver one message for LG’s customers and help drive sales and market share growth.

• Provide advanced pre‑ and post‑sales engineering support to LG staff and customers for proper application of LG Residential, Commercial air‑cooled, and OA/DOAS products.
• Independently lead the creation and maintenance of application presentations, documents, and tools used by LG staff and customers.
• Proactively identify missing or incomplete product data and work independently to resolve and deliver the required information.
• Mentor and support Product Support Engineering staff in their daily activities and provide guidance for their career development goals.
• Collaborate with LG sales teams and Rep/Distributor partners on projects involving unique or complex application designs using LG products.
• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) by reviewing R&D data for New Product Introductions (NPIs), developing technical details, and validating material before release to Tech Writers, Marketing, and Operations.
• Conduct training sessions and seminars for LG staff and customers on new and existing LG products.
• Partner with the LG sales team to identify opportunities and develop strategies that expand application knowledge and promote sales.
• Support multiple teams in creating and reviewing catalogs, brochures, submittals, guide specifications, engineering manuals, presentations, and related materials.
