BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a Reimbursement Supervisor with our Skilled Nursing Reimbursement Services office. The Reimbursement Supervisor is responsible for the accurate and timely billing and resolution of a team’s accounts receivable. The successful candidate must have a friendly disposition and enjoy being in a supportive role. The Reimbursement Supervisor must have a solid work ethic, be highly innovative, and must have excellent time management skills. This is a hands-on supportive position requiring extreme customer service in a fast-paced environment. The Reimbursement Supervisor must have management experience of healthcare accounts receivables and a staff of at least 5 people, extensive experience with managing accounts receivable for Medicaid payors.

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
Minimum Experience:
- Healthcare accounts Receivable/Collections experience (3+ years)
- Management experience of up to 10 employees (5+ years)
- Proven advanced skill in accounts receivable management/collections (5+ years)
- Must be computer literate in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Must possess good organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written skills needed for the proper completion of assignments.
- Must have effective written and verbal communication skills
Responsibilities:
- Supervise staff of Reimbursement Associates, acting as the initial escalation point for related work items
- Train, mentor, and coach new and current department employees, including providing employee evaluations quarterly and annual.
- Support company and management directives with staff. Present a positive attitude. Contribute to team motivation and a positive work environment.
- Conduct routine team meetings focusing on communication, training, and performance reviews.
- Responsible for monitoring and reporting of team performance and reimbursement associates
- Assist department head with weekly/monthly/annual reporting
- Conduct monthly quality and production audits for teams
- Perform in-depth credit analysis for debtor credit lines and other duties as required by management
- Generating and distributing correspondence and reports to assist in the collections process
- Provide oversight of the assigned accounts receivable portfolio
- Deliver excellent communications across the organization, both written correspondence and verbal.
- Assure customer needs and concerns are properly communicated and addressed.
- Research, test and implement process improvement initiatives.
- Maintain poise and professionalism.
- Represent the organization professionally through attendance at conference calls or external events/associations.
- Read, interpret, and document reimbursement-related documentation such as insurance policies and regulations
- Work closely with other departments and groups to resolve issues and exceed client’s service expectations
- Maintain standards of confidentiality, ethics, and compliance
- Perform other related tasks as requested by supervisor
