Peraton will deliver a broad spectrum of Command, Control, Communications, Computer, Cyber Defense, Combat Systems, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C6ISR) capabilities to support SOCPAC missions and it’s AORs. Capabilities include using air, maritime, ground, and space-based platforms to meet mission needs in an ever-changing threat and technology landscape. Our team will provide support to continuously evolve and leverage the latest technologies and best practices to rapidly refresh capabilities and ensure platforms and intelligence operations are optimized to support the SOCPAC missions.

  ******POSITION IS CONTINGENT ON CONTRACT AWARD********** As a Senior Technical/Physical Security Specialist Duties and responsibilities include: 

  • Implementing policies and procedures required to manage sensitive compartmented information (SCI) facilities and to protect SCI resources;
  • Control all collateral and SCI classified information and material within the Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIFs)
  • Draft Construction Security Plans in accordance with DOD 5105.21 and ICD 705
  • Conduct Initial and subsequent risk assessments and Outline Threats and Risk Mitigation Strategies
  • Implement construction security plans as directed
  • Participate in in-progress reviews, working groups, and design meetings
  • Conduct design reviews from a security perspective to confirm designs and plans are inclusive of SCIF/SAPF accreditation requirements
  • Ensure access control procedures are implemented
  • Maintain a list of all workers, companies, and vendors used on the project and include this list with SCIF accreditation files
  • Develop SOPs for performance of duties in accordance with the CSP, AO/SSO Direction, and ICD 705
  • Initiate and update FFC and TEMPEST checklist compiling all documentation for submission

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Active TS/SCI Security Clearance
  • Minimum of  8  years of security experience specifically related to SCIF Construction, Intelligence Operations, Counter-Intelligence Operations, Counter-Surveillance Operations, Technical Surveillance Counter-Measures, Physical Security, or a combination of these experiences
  • Minimum of three (3) years direct experience working on ICD-705 construction projects or working as a physical security SSO.
  • Knowledge and ability to apply IC and DOD classification guidelines and procedures
  • Bachelor's Degree in a security or intelligence related field, or equivalent work experience, with a minimum of ten (10) years of physical security officer

  • Prior experience standing up SCIFs within US SOCPAC
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment independently or as a member of a team

Target Salary Range

$86,000 - $138,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
