Fiber Network Evangelist

Position Summary

This position is ideal for a retired IT Director looking for a way to stay involved in the industry but work as much or as little as you want when you want.

Vero is seeking a passionate Fiber Network Evangelist to educate and advocate for our private fiber network solutions within school districts. Excellent opportunity for additional income by leveraging your connections and industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Outreach and Relationship Building: Maintain relationships in the industry by attending conferences and networking events.

• Educational Workshops: Host "District Lunch and Learns" with Vero Product and Engineering coworkers to provide in-depth information about our solutions.

• Educational Presentations: Share information with school administrators and staff highlighting the advantages of Vero's fiber network solutions.

• Needs Assessment: Identify and assess the unique technology needs of school districts to tailor our offerings accordingly.

• Industry Networking: Maintain relationships in the industry by attending conferences and networking events.

• Site Visits: Visit with school districts interested in learning about private fiber networks to showcase our capabilities and address their specific needs.

Qualifications

• A passion for education and technology.

• Previously an IT Director or similar for a school district
