Director, Accounting Strategy & Financial Reporting

You will lead accounting research and operational analysis with a primary focus on M&A, strategic equity and debt investments, new accounting and reporting standards, and other special projects. You will also have an opportunity to support the SEC reporting and earnings release process, including overseeing aspects of financial statement disclosures and involvement with reporting non-GAAP financial measures.</p> <p>In this role, you will collaborate closely with our Strategy and Corporate Development team and, where applicable, strategically advise them on the accounting implications of unique transactions. Additionally, you will be involved in the development of clear, actionable accounting policies and informative trainings. You will also have an opportunity to present your research results and assessment findings and recommendations to senior leadership and key cross-functional stakeholders.</p> <h4><strong>What You’ll Do </strong></h4> <p><strong>Work Location: </strong>This role is eligible to be based out of any of Axon's US hub offices (Atlanta/Peachtree Corners, Boston/Back Bay, NYC/Manhattan, Phoenix/Scottsdale, San Francisco/Presidio, Seattle/Downtown) and follows a hybrid schedule. We rely on in-person collaboration and ask that team members work onsite Tuesdays through Fridays, with the flexibility to work remotely on Mondays, unless there is an approved workplace accommodation.
