MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

 

A high school diploma and one (1) year of professional work experience. 

 

A bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university can substitute for the one (1) year of professional work experience.

 

Requires possession of a valid Class E driver license.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

 

Employees appointed to positions involved in collecting samples for the dairy regulatory program must pass an evaluation conducted by a Milk Sampling Surveillance Officer to become a Certified Sampler within 90 days of employment and maintain valid certification.

 

This position has regulatory responsibilities and is subject to the provisions of Chapter 112.313, Florida Statutes, and Chapter 60L-36.003, Florida Administrative Code.

 

Occasional travel required.

 

Must reside in required county(ies) throughout employment in this position.

JOB DUTIES:

 

The incumbent in this position administers a dairy regulatory program in an assigned area according to the requirements of the Grade A Pasteurized Milk Ordinance, Florida Dairy and Frozen Dessert Laws and Guidelines of the Bureau of Dairy Industry. Responsibility for completion of requirements on a quarterly basis rests upon the individual.
