Director, Strategy & Business Development

As our Director of Strategy & Business Development, you’ll work hand-in-hand with the Chief Strategy Officer to define, drive, and deliver initiatives that fuel our growth and profitability. This is not a “back-office strategy” role — it’s a high-visibility, hands-on leadership position where you’ll own high-impact projects from concept to execution, influence senior decision-makers, and help steer the future of the business.

What You’ll Do

• Shape the Strategic Roadmap: Partner with the Chief Strategy Officer to define and execute Henry Schein One’s long-term growth strategy, aligning initiatives with business priorities and market opportunities.
• Own High-Impact Projects: Independently lead initiatives such as market analysis, competitive intelligence, business case development, M&A sourcing, due diligence, negotiation support, and post-deal integration.
• Tell the Story Behind the Strategy: Translate complex insights into clear, persuasive narratives for the CEO, Board of Directors, and shareholders — driving alignment, investment, and action.
• Deliver Executive-Ready Work: Create compelling presentations and strategic frameworks that combine data, visuals, and storytelling to influence key business decisions.
• Drive Operational & Financial Impact: Identify, evaluate, and execute initiatives that improve efficiency, profitability, and customer impact across the organization.
• Build Influence Across the Business: Establish trusted relationships with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to align priorities, remove barriers, and deliver results.
• Be Hands-On: Roll up your sleeves — from building models to crafting board decks — ensuring speed, precision, and excellence in delivery.

What You’ll Have

• Bachelor’s degree in Strategy, Finance, Business, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• 7+ years of experience in strategy, corporate development, investment banking, management consulting, or a high-performance operating environment.
• Proven track record of leading and executing end-to-end strategic projects with measurable results.
• Expertise in financial modeling, business case development, and market analysis.
• Strong understanding of SaaS platforms, pricing strategies, and recurring revenue models.
• Exceptional presentation, storytelling, and communication skills — able to distill complexity into clarity for executives, boards, and investors.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills; comfortable with building financial models and creating executive-ready presentations.
• Experience in healthcare or dental technology is a plus.
