“This position requires passing a ServiceNow background screening, USFedPASS (US Federal Personnel Authorization Screening Standards). What you get to do in this role:   

• As a Senior Software Engineer, focused on cloud infrastructure automation, you will have the opportunity to work on ServiceNow Platform and Tools, build solutions using workflows, orchestration and developer tools in Private and Public Multi-Cloud infrastructure.
• Our automation framework allows us to take infrastructure related actions, execute scripts based on business requirements.
• You will work as a member of our developer team that scales our automation framework to meet the needs of the future.
• You will also design and develop cloud automations to support the deployment and management of ServiceNow Platform/Products in our own infrastructure.
• You will also have the opportunity to learn, leverage and implement various Gen AI capabilities from the ServiceNow Platform and make them available for our teams
• In addition to tools and automation, you will interact with other members of the infrastructure organization and the ServiceNow development teams

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you have:

• 4+ years of experience in professional software development, preferably in the Cloud Infrastructure Environment
• Solid foundation in distributed systems with proven experience designing and architecting Systems
• Advanced programming or scripting skills (using JavaScript) and experience in object-oriented design
• Development of web-based database applications using MySQL or other relational databases
• Experience integrating software and services using common API techniques (REST, SOAP, XML, etc.)
• Excellent technical design, problem-solving, debugging skills and an aptitude for learning new technologies
• Exposure to Containers, Machine Learning or Big Data will be a plus
• Some experience working in Public Cloud environments such as Azure, AWS or GCP
• Team player, attention to detail and ability to work well and communicate with others
• BS/MS Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience

For positions in the Seattle metro/Kirkland areas, we offer a base pay of $137,000 - $233,000, plus equity (when applicable), variable/incentive compensation and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the base pay shown is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
