JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Penn State Dickinson Law is seeking a recent graduate to provide temporary assistance to various administrative departments at the Law School including the Office of Admissions & Financial Aid; the Career Services Office; the Office of Academic & Student Services; and the Law Library. The temporary assistant will assist with the completion of ongoing projects, some of which may relate to unification.
Job Duties
Examples of job responsibilities include:
- Reading and proposing decisions on admissions applications.
- Reviewing and providing feedback to incoming students on legal resumes and cover letters.
- Counseling incoming and current law students by providing insight into the legal recruitment process.
- Serving as a TA for the required 1L Pathways course that will commence this summer.
- Assisting with coordinating and planning specific events to be delivered in the Fall 2025 Semester.
- Other duties as assigned.
The temporary assistant may work up to 20 hours per week from mid-June through mid-September. The temporary assistant will receive compensation at a rate of $18/hour. Preference will be given to recent Penn State Dickinson Law graduates.
