What You'll Do:

 

Batchers work with the production lines and schedules and follow formulas to pull raw ingredients, stage them for blending, stocking production lines and perform COP all blending and packaging equipment during scheduled cleaning periods.  They follow established procedures in order to achieve QC approved products. They demonstrate leadership in the area of safety.  This requires observing and enforcing safety rules and practices, encouraging safe work behaviors, and promptly correcting conditions and unsafe behavior, which may lead to accidents. Continually endorse the Quality & Food Safety Policies, assure conformance to all requirements of the Management Systems, & take action to properly report failures to site management. The Batcher works closely with the team and reports to the Production Supervisor.

What You'll Need to Succeed:

 

  • High School graduate or equivalent required.
  • Basic math skills, ability to calculate percentages.
  • High attention to detail, accuracy and thoroughness.
  • 1 yr. Manufacturing experience, preferably in a chemical or food processing facility.
  • Use of RF scanners, inventory tracking and control systems
  • Prior lift truck operation and safety certification.
  • Use of MS products required, SAP software preferred.
