Responding promptly to maintenance requests in guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces while delivering professional and courteous service.
Performing general repairs including carpentry, painting, plumbing, electrical, drywall, furniture repair, and other building maintenance tasks.
Completing preventative maintenance assignments to ensure hotel facilities, equipment, and building systems operate safely and efficiently.
Prioritizing work orders based on guest impact, operational needs, and emergency situations.
Inspecting hotel equipment, mechanical systems, and facilities to identify maintenance needs before they become guest concerns.
Maintaining organized inventories of tools, equipment, materials, and maintenance supplies.
Supporting hotel operations by moving furniture, equipment, and other items as needed.
Maintaining clean, organized, and safe workshops, storage areas, and maintenance spaces.
Handling tools, equipment, chemicals, and maintenance materials safely while following all company safety procedures.
Reporting maintenance concerns, safety hazards, and equipment deficiencies promptly to Engineering leadership.
Partnering with Housekeeping, Front Office, Food & Beverage, and other departments to ensure the hotel remains guest-ready at all times.

Education and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous hotel, commercial building, facilities, or general maintenance experience preferred.
Knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, drywall, and general building maintenance.
Experience using hand tools, power tools, ladders, and maintenance equipment safely.
Ability to read blueprints, equipment manuals, and technical instructions preferred.
Ability to obtain and maintain any required licenses, certifications, or permits applicable to the position.
Knowledge of workplace safety standards, OSHA guidelines, and proper chemical handling procedures preferred.
Strong organizational, troubleshooting, and time-management skills.
Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative Engineering team.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and emergency call situations based on business needs.


Work Environment and Physical Requirements
Ability to stand, walk, climb, bend, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and move throughout the hotel during the shift.
Ability to frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 100 pounds, including equipment, tools, furniture, and maintenance materials.
Ability to safely operate hand tools, power tools, ladders, snow removal equipment, and other maintenance equipment.
Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weath
