Senior Front-End Developer

Manta is a technology company that provides solutions for marine subsea autonomy. With a global operational and sales organization, we support our customers worldwide with life-of-field services and cutting-edge seismic acquisition solutions. We currently have around 70 employees in our offices in Linköping, Stockholm, and Gothenburg.

What’s the role?

We are looking for experienced professionals who can take on a leading role in our digital journey. In this role you will form and create vital parts of the company’s success from the very beginning. The tools and features you will design and develop are for professional users and resides in a cloud environment. They span the complete value chain from initial operations planning, simulation and optimization to operations monitoring, control, fleet management and performance evaluation.

You may be a full-stack developer, but your primary responsibility will be front-end. As such, you will work closely with UX and back-end developers to bring industry leading intuitive user interfaces for our autonomous underwater vehicles to life. In short, your daily life will circle around the following:

• Implementation of web applications which enhances the user experience by well balanced functional and aesthetic design.
• Ensuring web applications works in both office and field environment.
• Ensuring structured, reusable and testable code.
• Last, but not least, take an active part in creating a positive and can-do work climate with your colleagues.

Requirements

Who are we looking for?

• A curious, pragmatic and team-oriented mindset.
• Senior engineers with minimum 5 years relevant experience who have seen and lived through both the bad and the good and knows how to iteratively take a solution forward while continuously delivering value.
• Experience with Azure and UI component libraries is a plus.

An agile work set-up in our offices in brand-new facilities at IMA One in Linköping. We generally offer the possibility to work from home 1-2 days per week, but for the right candidate this can be negotiated. Travel to meet the clients is encouraged and may be included as a part of the job.
