Job Summary 

The purpose of this position is to provide a professional partnership from Human Resources to employees, and management to ensure strategic HR alignment. This position is responsible for leading and coordinating a variety of human resource functions in the areas of employee relations, training and employee development, recruiting/staffing, performance management, policy and procedure interpretation and implementation, compensation and legal compliance. Other duties include consulting with employees and managers on HR-related needs throughout the employee life-cycle and data analysis. This position may supervise others as needed.


Pay Rate 

The annual pay range is from $83,715.00 to $95,312.00, plus full benefits.

*The County pays monthly on the last week day of the month.*

Requirements

  • Must possess a valid Colorado driver’s license.
  • Must complete ICS 100 and ICS 700 within the first year of employment.

QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION:

  • Four (4) years full-time      experience in human resources or a related field. 
  • Bachelor’s degree from an      accredited college or university with major coursework in business      administration, human resources, or a related field. 

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:

  • General office practices and      procedures.
  • Routine software and business      application including, but not limited to, word processing, spreadsheets,      presentation software, and databases.
  • Communicate clearly and      concisely, both verbally and in writing.
  • Read and comprehend department      and County rules, regulations, policies and standard operating procedures.
  • Establish and maintain effective      working relationships with other County employees, representatives of      other agencies and organizations, and members of the community.
  • Regular, predictable attendance.
  • Principles, practices, and      objectives as related to staffing and recruitment, training, performance      evaluation, discipline, effective communication, and coaching.
  • Scope and application of laws and      regulations pertaining to human resource management, employment, and      personnel policy.
  • Interpersonal/relationships and      departmental/organization culture and practices.
