Position Summary/Objective:
In this role you are a strategic and creative team leader with an intimate knowledge of audiences, user needs, attitudes, behaviors, trends, and ability to drive strategic planning across multiple marketing channels to achieve business goals. You will work with our marketing team and our cross-functional partners to bring our brand to life and shape our messaging, creative, and overall brand presence. The role requires the ability to lead and mentor a team in a collaborative effort toward the common strategic goals of the organization.
Essential Functions

1. Own the overall vision and direction for the Iowa Wolves brand and lead a team of brand marketers to deliver on a multi-faceted marketing and brand strategy focused on enhancing revenue and brand opportunities across all teams. Develop comprehensive commercial marketing plan and roadmap.
2. Partner with departments to conceptualize campaigns that strengthen our platforms and drive revenue for season ticket memberships, premium seating, group initiatives, and individual game ticket sales.
3. Develop unique selling proposition – clear value proposition and key differentiators.
4. Work directly with our Corporate Partnerships team to identify new partnership opportunities and service existing partnerships to the fullest.
5. Lead alignment between marketing, ticket sales & service, partnership sales & service, social responsibility, DE&I, and communications departments.
6. Facilitate alignment across player brand and digital strategy.
7. Lead creative team in charge of developing effective concepts designed to clearly articulate strategic objectives and carry concepts through development, refinement, and full production of project design.
8. Build advertising and media buying strategies and oversee execution to deliver maximum impact.
9. Create retail vision and strategies for team merchandising across e-commerce and brick and mortar stores.
10. Plan and manage year-round events that deliver a strong brand presence out in the community and serve as a source for lead and demand generation.
11. Assist in directing the Live Programming and Entertainment team to deliver a premier in-game experience.
12. Assist with the annual digital planning process and implementation to further engage and grow audiences through social media, digital platforms, and content.
13. Collaborate with our Business Intelligence team to expand, monitor, and evaluate marketing decisions.
14. Manage third-party relationships including brand and media agencies, print houses, influencer audiences, etc.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Other:
1. A Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 10 years of relevant marketing experience in a complex, consumer-facing organization preferred.
2. Experience partnering with sales, management, and creative leaders to drive distinction in an ambitious consumer marketplace.
3. Consistent track record of driving measurable business growth through the design and implementation of innovative marketing strategies.
4. Experience in developing a multi-channel media strategy and executing the plan across traditional and digital channels.
5. Demonstrated background in developing various creative marketing collateral and campaigns for new and traditional media.
6. Experience developing and leading successful multi-year brand and conversion campaigns for prestigious brand(s).
7. Deep knowledge in branding and positioning, you have helped up-level a brand for an enterprise company.
8. Experience in developing and executing brand architecture, guidelines, and brand identity across a portfolio of products and/or services.
9. You are a team player, results driven, very detail and process oriented, who loves to work in a diverse and multicultural environment and can foster and invite collaboration.
