Overview PT starting at $14.00, FT starting at $16.00-$18.00
This position is responsible for performing manual and semi-manual golf course maintenance functions. The work performed is vital to the overall maintenance of the property including cleaning as required due to storm events.
Responsibilities
- Following all training, general safety rules and regulations, policy, procedures and service standards while performing job duties.
- Performing manual labor including, but not limited to: Mowing playing surfaces, changing pin locations, setting tee markers, raking bunkers, hand watering, blowing playing surfaces, string trimming and edging, mulching, planting, seeding, sodding, aerification and general clean up duties.
- Performing work using equipment including, but not limited to: Various mowers for different playing surfaces, bunker rakes, pull behind blowers, backpack blowers, edgers, weed eaters, small vehicles.
- Using and caring for hand tools and equipment issued on the job.
- Responding to emergency storm events. (IE snow, tornados, hurricanes, etc)
- Performing other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid state driver’s license.
- Must have a strong attention to detail.
- Must be able to withstand a range of outside weather conditions (heat/cold, rain/snow) including prolonged exposure to sunlight.
- Ability to lift, push, pull a minimum of 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand, walk, stoop, knee, crouch, reach for an extended period.
- Ability to bend at the waist and perform repetitive foot and hand action.
- Good hand/eye/foot coordination required.
- Ability to work on weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
