Raytheon is seeking a Sr. Security Analyst to support classified programs in accordance with the National Industrial Security Program (NISP). This role provides operational and programmatic security support to the Facility Security Officer (FSO) across industrial, personnel, physical, and program security disciplines. The selected candidate will support day‑to‑day security operations, collaborate with internal teams and government stakeholders, and help ensure compliance with NISPOM and company policies.
This position operates with moderate supervision and is well‑suited for a security professional who is motivated to broaden skills, increase responsibility over time, and pursue continued professional growth within a regulated environment.
What You Will Do:
- Support the administration of the Industrial Security Program in compliance with NISPOM and DCSA requirements, including classified material accountability, maintenance of security records, and preparation of DD Form 254s.
- Assist with personnel security actions, onboarding, system and facility access requests, CAC processing, VAR submissions, and visitor coordination.
- Contribute to security briefings, awareness efforts, audits, inspections, and updates to security documentation.
- Provide operational support to Program Managers and IPTs, help manage access control and visitor management systems, and utilize tools such as DISS, NISS, DoD SAFE, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Acrobat. Support obtaining, monitoring, auditing, and approval of security‑related purchase orders and invoices.
- This will be an onsite role in our Chesapeake, VA facility.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum of 2 years’ prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field.
- Prior experience in Industrial or Military/Government security role
- Active and transferable Confidential clearance level required at time of application. U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date with the ability to obtain higher clearance level or program access.
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Experience supporting classified environments or defense programs
- Familiarity with NISPOM and DCSA processes
- Experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook, teams
- Experience using security systems and databases (e.g. DISS/NISS)
- Knowledge of government/depot processes with active DoD clearance.
