$75,000.00/Yr. - $110,000.00/Yr.

Actual starting pay will vary based on factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, experience, skills, specialty, and education.

Eligible for an Annual Discretionary Cash Bonus Target: 10%

Eligible for an Annual Discretionary Restricted Stock Units Bonus Target: 10%

These discretionary target bonuses may be awarded semi-annually based upon your achievement of performance goals and targets.

About This Job

As the Margin Manager, you will be entrusted with overseeing a team of margin and cash management analysts, the margin trading activities within our organization and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Your primary responsibility will involve coaching and developing team members, managing margin accounts, evaluating risk exposure, and implementing margin policies and procedures in alignment with industry standards and internal guidelines. Your expertise in margin trading, risk management, and regulatory compliance will be essential in safeguarding the financial integrity of our firm. Overall, this role requires a detail-oriented and analytical professional with a deep understanding of securities markets and margin trading operations.

Responsibilities:

• Coach and develop team members
• Protect the firm from risk exposure by monitoring accounts to ensure compliance with FINRA, SRO and Axos Clearing rules and regulations
• Review money due, stock due and various other reports as well as impose trade restrictions for trade settlement violations
• Handle fund disbursements from client accounts
• Handle client inquiries from clients regarding buying power, funds available, day-trading and various other topics
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate both strategically and technically
• Proven experience bringing disparate opinions together across multiple stakeholder groups
• Proactively identify potential issues and escalate as needed
• Ability to handle multiple projects and deliver quality outcomes within short time frames
• Demonstrable experience working independently with little supervision while meeting aggressive timelines
• Ability to proactively analyze and assess current processes to define, document and implement improvements

Requirements:

• High school diploma
• Series 7, 63, 24 licenses or condition of employment
• 3+ years’ experience in the financial services industry
• Must have knowledge of financial industry practices as they relate to retirement and nonretirement plans

Preferred:

• Bachelor's degree
