Position Summary
We are seeking a Vice President, Global Neurology Commercial Business Unit (CBU) to join our Commercial team. Reporting directly to the Executive Vice President, Commercial, this position will be responsible for optimizing business performance by maximizing growth and profitability of products within the assigned therapeutic area. The Vice President will lead the CBU, motivating and developing the team to deliver on goals and exceed customer expectations. This role includes full accountability for the P&L, developing and implementing marketing and sales strategies, and driving operational and financial success.

The ideal candidate will establish credible and trusted relationships with direct reports and key stakeholders across Regeneron’s Commercial, Corporate, and R&D organizations. A strong commitment to fostering a patient-first culture is essential, ensuring all business activities align with Regeneron’s values while maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local laws, industry regulations, and guidelines.

Responsibilities

Leadership

  • Provide leadership for the CBU, motivating and developing the team to exceed customer expectations.
  • Build a customer-focused, well-informed, and engaged employee environment, developing leaders and employees who embody Regeneron values and deliver superior results.
  • Establish credible and trusted relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners, including key healthcare providers and opinion leaders.
  • Foster collaboration across local, regional, and global teams, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and core strategic priorities.
  • Drive a high-performance culture by promoting innovation, customer focus, accountability, and commitment to results.

Strategic

  • Develop and execute business plans to achieve corporate objectives, including marketing, salesforce, and market access strategies.
  • Provide input into global and cross-functional strategic plans for Regeneron and the Commercial function.
  • Ensure Regeneron Executive Leadership is informed of external events and threats that may impact business plans, offering actionable recommendations.
  • Demonstrate a strategic approach to team development, including attraction, retention, succession planning, and collaboration with other functions.

Operational

  • Maintain full P&L responsibility, with a clear understanding of financial performance and opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize operational and financial goals while aligning stakeholders.
  • Ensure governance practices and business processes comply with company policies and industry standards.
  • Recruit, hire, develop, and retain talented individuals to deliver business objectives.
  • Provide input into Marketing, Sales, Market Access, and Pricing strategies, ensuring alignment across functions.
  • Facilitate market learning and knowledge sharing to accelerate commercialization.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in life sciences or related field; MBA preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of leadership experience in the pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry, with a proven track record of success in progressively senior roles.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong general management capabilities, including full P&L experience and demonstrated success in revenue growth and team leadership.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to lead cross-functional teams and achieve results through collaboration across business units and functions.
  • Personal Attributes: High emotional intelligence, candor, integrity, and adaptability in a fast-paced, matrix environment.
  • Communication: Exceptional communication and team-building skills, with a strong understanding of the value of diversity.
  • Analytical Skills: Proven ability to execute and deliver on business objectives with creativity and contextual judgment.
