About the Job:

The Certified Oncology Infusion Registered Nurse provides holistic patient care to high risk, complex, acutely and chronically ill oncology and hematology patients in the outpatient setting. This role involves administering chemotherapy and other prescribed treatments, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team, and supporting patients and caregivers throughout the cancer journey. You will play a critical role in symptom management, care coordination, and education, contributing meaningfully to patients' overall well-being.

What You’ll Do:

• Deliver holistic, patient-centered care across the cancer care continuum, including chemotherapy and blood product administration.

• Collaborate with the oncology team to develop and evaluate care plans.

• Provide education to patients and caregivers on self-management, medication, and nutrition.

• Administer chemotherapy and manage common oncologic emergencies.

• Maintain proper documentation and ensure compliance with safety protocols.

• Participate in continuous improvement activities and attend educational programs.

Who You Are / Requirements:

• A Registered Nurse with at least one to two years of experience in med/surg, critical care, or oncology.

• You have a current NH or compact state RN license and are BLS certified.

• You have a passion for oncology care and are eager to gain specialized certifications in chemotherapy and immunotherapy.

• You are skilled in time management, have strong interpersonal communication, and can work autonomously and within a team.
