Description
The Training Resource Assistant will maintain the Graduate Training Integration Management System (GTIMS). The Training Resource Assistant will attend and participate in all Course Readiness Reviews (CRR’s) for all airframes prior to creation and implementation of courses and related material. The Training Resource Assistant will work together with the 58 Training Rehearsal Squadron, Program Managers (PM’s) and the Integrated Process Team members (IPT’s) to resolve any issues concerning the creation of syllabi, courses and lessons. The Training Resource Assistant will develop and/or create all Model Resources, Equivalent Resources, and Model Events for all airframes. The Training Resource Assistant will create all aircrew qualifications and maintain the Qualification Manager application.
Essential Functions of the Position:
- Gather and enter all data into the GTIMS syllabus designer to include all grading for Form 74’s, Maneuver Information File (MIF) and Maneuver Grade Folders (MGF) for all assigned airframes.
- Use GTIMS Resource Browser Status Details for the creation of all classrooms and modifications to all resources and instructors.
- Test schedule all course syllabi for accuracy using GTIMS Schedule Builder.
- Support in the development of all Training Review Board (TRB) processes and the Lost Event and Down Time report process.
- Assist in all aspects of Training Operations to include scheduling.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Active DoD Secret Clearance.
- Experience in courseware development.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Knowledge of the Graduate Training Integration Management System (GTIMS).
- Computer literate, ability to use and learn computer applications (Microsoft Office) and Excel.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail is a must.
- Good time management skills and ability to multitask.
- Willing to work extended hours when requested.
- Ability to work in fast paced, high stress environment, while maintaining a good working relationship with all members of the team, all customers, and management.
- Previous experience in military or civilian Training Resource Management preferred.
- Previous experience utilizing GTIMS systems.
