Purpose Statement

The Principal Sales Enablement Strategist develops and conducts product training and education programs for the new and existing sales / clinical professionals that support area and company goals.  In addition, monitors and evaluates employee product training needs to ensure the ongoing development of employees' ability to meet customer and product technology demands of the company. Also, provides recommendations for content improvements and delivers the new hire training for all event, and owns the maintenance of existing training presentations, department presentations, collaboration with Marketing / Sales Ops / Training / Sr. Leadership.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Develops and conducts product training and education programs for the new and exsisting sales / clinical professionals that support area and company goals.
  • Evaluates product training needs of company personnel by evaluating employee's knowledge, skills and abilities (KSAs) against needs of job and identifying KSA gaps where training is a solution to ensure on-going development of employees' ability to meet customer and product technology demands of the company.  Makes recommendations to sales training management based on evaluation.
  • Monitors the training of company personnel by reviewing job requirements and other knowledge requirements (i.e. CS, TC, BP's) as outlined in the area training plan to ensure employees are properly trained in processes and procedures.
  • Implements measurements to improve company personnel performance or enhance employee technical product knowledge in coordination with sales leadership and training manager.
  • Writes area-training plan by working with other Field Training Associates, sales management, marketing, sales ops, and training to establish the purpose and scope of the procedures, research information to be included, and formulate the procedure to document guidelines for ensuring operating efficiency.
  • Attends professional conferences to build networks of contacts, advance technical knowledge, and ensure professional expertise is maintained.
  • Communicates with sales leadership on new and existing performance post employee attending training event.
  • Recommends instructional/graphical methods for conveying medical/sales information.
  • Calendar Management for programs - Manage calendar and planning for programs to ensure there is enough capacity to meet demand. Classes should be scheduled on a rolling 6-12 month.  
  • Ensures that all new technologies curriculum is integrated into our learning experience.
  • Incorporates and facilitating all training material into the LMS system (Adobe Captivate) with all learning material
  • Works with the Sales Training Team to coordinate and streamline the setup and execution of the training classes and meetings.
  • Works with the Sales Training Manager on various department specific projects, special projects, and product promotions.
  • Track training compliance (quiz scores, eLearning)

 

Experience Requirements

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in sales enablement, preferably in a technology or healthcare environment.
  • Strong strategic thinking and project management skills, with the ability to translate business objectives into actionable enablement initiatives.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships across all levels of the organization.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to measure the impact of enablement programs and drive data-driven decision-making.
  • Passion for enablement and a commitment to fostering a culture of learning and development within the organization.
