Position Summary:
Wausau Tile is seeking a dependable and safety-focused Summer Helper to support production operations on 1st shift. This seasonal role is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on manufacturing experience. The Summer Helper will assist with basic production tasks, material handling, and general labor duties while working independently or as part of a team under supervision.

Key Responsibilities:


Assist with a variety of production and general labor tasks as needed.
Support production setup, material handling, and basic assembly processes.
Operate hand tools and assist with equipment under supervision.
Help move, stage, and organize materials and finished products.
Assist with basic finishing tasks to ensure products meet quality standards.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
Follow all safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
Perform other duties as assigned to support production operations.


Physical Requirements:


Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, and lift throughout the shift.
Frequently lift and move materials up to 50 lbs.
Perform repetitive motions involving hands, arms, and back.


Qualifications:


Willingness to learn and take direction.
Strong work ethic and reliability.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Mechanical aptitude or prior manufacturing experience is a plus, but not required.
