Schedule: Wednesday - Sunday 11:30am-8pm with flexibility required
The Target Pay Range for this position is $25.00 hourly. At Antech, pay decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, education, training and budget.
Job Purpose/Overview
The Serology Lab Technician is responsible for testing blood and other samples for viral and bacterial disease by detecting antibodies (AB) or antigens (AG). The Serology PCR Technician examines samples for specific substances using molecular diagnostic methods.

Perform and analyze results for both PCR and non-PCR tests as required.
Reads and releases test results
Tests performed may be more complex
Exercises judgment in evaluating and reporting results
Performs equipment maintenance
Find missing specimens. Print and reconcile queue list
Library all samples
Maintain all departmental equipment
Follows applicable Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's), including safety and quality procedures. Maintains clean and organized work area. Restocks supplies as needed
Participates in improving lab efficiency, quality, and cooperation
Performs other duties as assigned

Education and Experience
High school or equivalent required, bachelor's degree in science preferred.
Prior lab experience preferred
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Laboratory skills, with experience setting up, running, and reading lab tests and operating lab instruments.
