ACCOUNTING CLERK

SIGN-ON BONUS FOR ELIGIBLE NEW HIRES
$2,000 sign-on bonus to eligible new hires with qualified experience of 2+ years cashiering experience.

• 25% after 90 days
• 25% after 180 days
• 50% after 1 (one) year

JOB SUMMARY
Performs daily audits of gaming and non-gaming areas for the Grand Victoria Casino. Must be able to work weekends.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Understand and adhere to Grand Victoria Casino and Accounting standards, policies and procedures.
• Must be at least 21 years old
• Acquire and maintain strong knowledge of the Federal Cash Reporting Requirements required under Title 31.
• Perform daily company-wide departmental audits, research and resolve all discoveries, and document any changes
• Adhere to all gaming regulations
• Other duties as assigned

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

• Basic knowledge of computers and ability to input data
• Ability to maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information
• Capacity to work well with others and handle stressful situations with ease Ability to obtain and maintain a valid state gaming license
• Six months prior accounting experience preferred
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred

PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT

• Requires sitting approximately ninety (90%) percent of shift; requires bending and/or reaching from floor level to a height of six (6) feet
• Work environment may include smoke and variable temperature, lighting and noise levels

Salary Range: $19.00 - 20.00  per hour (Depending on Experience)
