JOB CATEGORY: SOBERING CENTER / MANAGEMENT / SUPERVISION

POSITION SUMMARY: This position coordinates the night shift operations of the Sobering Center under the supervision of the Program Administrator. Provides oversight of the Sobering Center’s night shift staffing and functions to include compliance monitoring, scheduling, and quality. A typical schedule will be Sunday through Thursday, from 11 pm – 8 am.

REQUIREMENTS EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Health Care Administration, Public Health, Business Administration or closely related field. A combination of significant and relevant education and/or experience may be substituted on a year-by-year basis for the degree requirement.
  • One year related experience within the health care or human services field.
  • Supervisory experience preferred. 

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

  • Have or be able to obtain First Aid and BLS/CPR certifications during pre-service training. Certifications must meet the requirements listed in the document “BLS / CPR / ACLS & First Aid Training Resources” posted on Staurolite. It is your responsibility to keep your certifications current at all times. 

SCREENING REQUIREMENTS:

This position requires successful completion of an initial post-offer of employment:

  • According to PMS Human Resources Policy 205.006, “Healthcare Personnel Testing & Immunization Requirements,” this position must comply with required testing and immunizations. Testing and immunizations including TB, Hepatitis B (consent or waiver), Tdap, MMR, and Varicella, will be available at the employee’s PMS health center. Influenza vaccines will be required according to dates set by the CDC and NMDOH.
  • Criminal Records Check.
