The Senior Software Engineer role:

You will join the Visualizations & Authoring team which develops state of the art visualizations and analytics capabilities in Qlik Sense. We work in a SaaS environment with a micro-service architecture, using primarily JavaScript, React and TypeScript.

Here’s how you’ll be making an impact:

• Play a key role in the development of visualizations and analytics capabilities which is an area that is very visible to our customers.
• Participate and drive the design and technical solutions to our features.
• Come up with your own suggestions to technical and/or feature improvements.
• Communicate and collaborate with developers, stakeholders and architects across the global organization. 

We’re looking for a someone with:

• A genuine interest in software engineering, learning, taking responsibility and initiative.

• 6+ years of experience from working with JavaScript and preferably React and TypeScript. Bonus points for micro-frontends and GitHub actions.
• Working knowledge and experience working in an agile environment, ideally having developed in the cloud, including monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Excellent verbal and written English skills as the company language is English.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or similar).
• Previous experience of working with charts and visualizations.

This position is in Lund. You will work in a team with colleagues both onsite and remote. Work-life balance is something we value at Qlik.
