PSI Pax, Inc has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Acquisition professional with demonstrated experience in contract management, including development of cost estimates and status reports. Our acquisition management analyst professionals possess comprehensive knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and DoD procurement policies and procedures to support our customers located in Patuxent River, MD and St. Inigoes, MD. Duties and Responsibilities: Functional Description:
  • The PSI Pax Acquisition Management Analyst (AMA) supports our government acquisition services and hardware customers by providing leadership skills to the PSI Pax Services and Hardware teams, ensuring quality and timely delivery of work packages. Effectively communicating with contract CORs, Division leadership and civilian acquisition team members is essential to ensuring all stakeholder needs are met.
 Essential Job Functions:
  • Oversee the PSI Pax Hardware and Services Teams ensuring that process documentation is complete, and team members are trained in the processes.
  • Manage overall acquisition schedules, POA&MS, action item management, and ensures that CI&IDS Acquisition priorities are completed in a timely manner.
  • Provide Quality Assurance for all acquisition products including contract acquisition dashboards and deliverables.
  • Serve as conduit between the government CORs and the Acquisition Team.
  • Serve as conduit between the Government Project Leads (GPLs) and Acquisition Team for hardware purchases.
  • Manage Acquisition Dashboard and analyze the data to develop actions plans to address data anomalies or operational issues (e.g., deobligations).
  • Provide funding cycle status and coordinate actions with project support analysts. 
 Qualifications: 
  • The Journeyman Acquisition Management Analyst candidate has at least three (3) years of experience in acquisition and management of Navy or other Defense programs., with at least two (2) years of experience in a business or technical position in a project management role.
  • Demonstrated experience in contract administration or acquisition documentation development support. Comprehensive knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and DoD procurement policies and procedures is required.
  • Demonstrates three years’ experience in performing full life cycle project management in the areas of initiated, planning, executing, monitoring, and controlling.
  • MS Office Suite proficiency.
  • A journeyman level candidate typically performs all functional duties independently.
  • A minimum of Secret Clearance is required.  
  Education Requirements 
  • BS/BA in Business Administration, Business Management, Project Management, Technical Management, Economics, Finance or Financial. OR,
  • AS/AAS degree plus four (4) years of additional work experience related to the requirements above. Or,
  • No degree plus six (6) years of additional work experience related to the requirements above. 
 Training & Certifications:
  • DAU Level II Certification or equivalent – Program Management, Acquisition or Business desired.
  • Earned Value Management training and/or experience preferred.
  • PMP desired
