What you’ll be responsible for:
As a Lead Program Manager within the Data organization, you will lead the coordination and execution of complex data projects that deliver on Circle’s Data roadmaps while also working closely with the Accounting team to help aid in data-related work required for Reconciliation and Attestation. You will define durable processes for the broader team, create project plans, lead project team activities, track progress, and monitor and communicate project status. You are the glue that holds teams together - always ensuring that everyone is on the same page.
What you'll work on:
- Help define durable processes for the broader team for things like OKR planning, status reporting, releasing plans, etc.
- Lead programs by managing program structure, scope, release planning, as well as ensuring cross-functional alignment.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to drive workgroup alignment meetings in order to address tactical release issues, dependencies, program status, milestones, etc.
- Organize and lead project meetings and compile project status reports to drive deliverables to schedule, as well as develop resolutions to mitigate risks.
- Act as the engine that keeps the Data team moving forward, and work cross-functionally across the organization, namely with Accounting, to complete necessary activities to drive progress.
- Establish strong relationships with all project stakeholders including team members and leadership.
- Establish and improve internal processes where necessary.

What you'll bring to Circle:
- You are a natural leader who is solutions and delivery-focused.
- You have 7+ years of project management or technical program management experience.
- You are a fantastic communicator both verbally and in writing. You are comfortable interfacing with executives, as well as product managers and developers.
- You have a proven track record of leading diverse, cross-functional project teams in the successful launch of new products or services.
- You have outstanding change management skills and the ability to lead teams through change.
- You are passionate about processes and continuously improving internal workflows.
- You are detail-oriented, highly analytical and a skilled multi-tasker.
- You are self-motivated, attentive, and always follow through.
- You have a basic understanding of crypto assets and blockchain technology, and a strong desire to learn more. You are passionate about bringing this technology to the mainstream.
- You have a basic understanding of data and internal tooling (e.g. Airflow, Superset).
- You have a basic understanding and/or experience with Accounting functions, including reconciliation and attestation activities. <
