Pay Range:
$19.80 - $29.70Major Responsibilities: Menu Selections and Communication 1)Answers room service phone calls to obtain menu selections from patients and/or patients families. 2)Communicates special patient needs to dietitians. Processing Diet Orders 1)Follows physician’s diet orders for all patients 2)Updates and maintains accurate patient card files in computer. 3)Adheres to specific standards for diets when entering selections into computer or in modifying and checking menus. 4)Ensure meal tickets are in compliance with diet orders, allergies and proper identifier on the meal tickets. 5)Updates and maintains nourishment orders to ensure diet orders are met. Communication 1)Communicates between nursing, host/hostess, and kitchen staff in order to clarify orders and provide prompt service. 2)Communicates special patient needs to dietitians.
