Front Office Supervisor - Franchised

Additional Information: This hotel is owned and operated by an independent franchisee, New Realty Investments. The franchisee is a separate company and a separate employer from Marriott International, Inc.  The franchisee solely controls all aspects of the hotel’s employment policies and practices, including hiring, firing, discipline, staffing, compensation, benefits, and all other terms and conditions of employment.  If you accept a position at this hotel, you will be employed by a franchisee and not by Marriott International, Inc.

- Approach all encounters with guests and associates in a friendly service oriented manner.
- Be able to perform all duties of Front Desk Agent.
- Maintain a friendly and warm demeanor at all times.
- Monitor all special guest requests.
- Set the standard for guest relations at the front desk.
- Fully comprehend and execute all relevant phases of the front desk computer system.
- Oversee and ensure that all guests are checked in/out in a friendly efficient and courteous manner.
- Answer all guest inquiries in a timely and professional nature.
- Assist in training of new hires and current associates on a regular basis.
- Performing any other duties assigned.

- Min 2 years of previous hotel front desk experience.
- FOSSE experience required.
- Previous supervisory responsibility preferred.
- Marriott experience required.
- Excellent communications skills to relate to guests, associates and vendors.
- Must maintain composure and objectivity under pressure.
- Must be effective at listening to understanding and clarifying the concerns and issues raised by co-workers and guests.
- Ability to train associates to perform effectively.
- $15 – $16.50 per hour. Depending on experience.
