Sentara CarePlex Hospital located in Hampton, VA is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Cardiac Unit. 

Full-time, 36 hours (3/12 hours shifts)

Days - 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Weekend Day Shift - (Premium Shift Differential)

Requirements - one of the following is required:

• Degree or Diploma from an accredited Registered Nursing Program
• Registered Nurse License (VA RN or Compact/Multi-State)
• Students in the process of completing an accredited nursing program
• Students in the process of obtaining a Registered Nursing License

Unit Description: This is a 24-bed Medical-Surgical Cardiac Stroke Unit where we care for patients at a med-surg level of care with telemetry monitoring. The patient population reflects a variety of diagnoses to include cardiac care such as heart failure, stable myocardial infarction, chest pain, and patients requiring cardiac diagnostic testing. This unit is the dedicated stroke downgrade unit which includes collaboration with IMC, ICU, and our stroke navigator. All nurses will maintain a current NIHSS certification and stroke training.
