You'll be dropped directly into customer spaces, handed hard problems, and trusted to build tools that actually close operation gaps - rather than just adding to the collective technical debt.
Responsibilities:
- Innovate & Analyze: Write scripts and analytics that turn "we have no idea" into "here's the answer."
- Integrate Data: Rescue, aggregate, and manipulate data from disparate, sometimes stubborn corporate silos. You will query compliantly and integrate securely—perhaps turning a data swamp into a beautifully structured knowledge graph along the way.
- Build Intuitive UIs: Develop modern user interfaces and visualizations to address gaps in customer toolsets, building tools that humans actually want to use.
- Elicit Requirements: Talk directly with end-users and stakeholders in their own spaces. Extract their true requirements (which, as we know, are occasionally different from what they think they want) and iterate rapidly.
- Collaborate: Partner with other DAT teams. Share expertise, borrow genius, and firmly refuse to reinvent the wheel.
Candidates should have the following qualifications:
- TS/SCI Clearance with polygraph
- 12 yrs., B.S. in a technical discipline or 4 additional yrs. in place of B.S.
- Demonstrated development proficiency in both Python and JavaScript for building full-stack web applications and analytics (tabs or spaces, we won't judge... much, but please use a linter).
- Proficiency in querying and manipulating data from enterprise databases and repositories.
- Strong experience developing and surviving on Linux-based platforms.
- Familiarity with Git for day-to-day development workflows (knowing how to rebase without destroying the universe is highly appreciated).
- A strong desire to work directly on-site in customer spaces, collaborate closely with users, and comfortably embrace a little dynamic chaos.
Candidates are desired to have the following skills:
- Experience with AI-assisted software development or engineering workflows (knowing how to effectively prompt your way out of a corner).
- Proficiency with agentic AI harnesses and frameworks.
- Knowledge of end-to-end SIGINT collection and analysis systems.
- Experience with production CNO (Computer Network Operations) capabilities and operations.
- Service containerization and orchestration experience using Docker and Kubernetes.
Perks and Benefits:
- 8 weeks paid leave - 4 weeks of personal leave, 3 Yay! days, take off on your birthday,11 paid holidays and optional leave up to 6 days through Belay's volunteer program
- 10% matching in 401(k) contributions vested on day one
- $5,000 annual training/tuition
- Student Loan Repayment Program
- 100% company-funded HSA
- Rich medical coverage (100% coinsurance)
- Dental coverage including orthodontia
- Up to $420,000 in life insurance, premiums 100% company funded
- Amazon Prime, gym reimbursement, monthly lunches, games and prizes
- Pet adoption program, generous referral bonus program, fun events, and more!
