Job Description
As the Manager for Protective Operations & Logistics, you will coordinate all event staffing, provide cost comparisons to senior executives, and provide logistical assistance for hundreds of global events per year. This position reports to the Senior Director of Executive and Event Services and is based out of McDonald’s Headquarters in Chicago, IL.

Major Responsibilities
- Lead all planning for event security staffing, administrative deliverables, work schedules, and after-action reports; includes coordinating transportation, lodging, equipment, and technical support requests for executive protection and event security personnel.
- Manage projected and actual costs of projects, financial tracking of vendor contracts, and assist in budget formulations for events and the department.
- Maintain appropriate records related to training, budget, travel, and other activities; track statistics for the department; assist with the development of data-driven metrics; and prepare reports detailing deliverables of the department.
- Conduct periodic reviews and cost-benefit analyses to identify event staffing efficiencies providing senior executives valuable insight that improves business planning and future strategic initiatives.
- Work professionally and confidentially with executive assistant staff, vendors, and key stakeholders, in support of executive travel and events.
- Coordinate with various partners creating innovative and scalable staffing options.
- Coordinate the selection of new vendors, handle contracts, and process invoices to ensure timely payment for services.
- Assist with briefings for contract vendor support for executive and event services requirements.
- Assist with event operation management, as required.
- Coordinate with executive protection and event personnel on applicable training opportunities and equipment needs.
- Assist with the procurement and maintenance of operational equipment.
- Coordinate with the McDonald’s legal department regarding applicable legal provisions for executive protection and event security implementation.
- Build synergetic relationships with numerous partners fostering cross-departmental collaboration.
- Cultivate a positive and empowering environment through development of department staff.
- Ensure that we remain “best in class” across the industry while consistently evolving with the global business needs of the company.

The expected salary range for this role is $112,860 - $143,900 per year
