As a Fullstack Engineer, you will:
- Participate in the conception, estimation, and prioritization of ideas, with data-driven product sense
- Use full-stack web technology (Node.js, React, TypeScript, HTML, CSS) to develop MVPs and run experiments to validate ideas and iterate quickly, leveraging new technologies, tools when needed
- Adopt automated and manual test strategies to ensure product quality;
- Learn and understand how TikTok products work and help build end-to-end solutions;
- Collaborate with product design, product management and software engineering teams to deliver best-in-class user experience.

Qualifications

Who We're Looking For:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline
- 5+ years leading end-to-end full-stack design, development, and implementation
- Experience in both frontend and backend technologies is a must. This includes familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, at least one modern JavaScript framework (such as React, Angular, Vue.js), as well as backend technologies like Node.js, Django or Flask.
- Understanding of APIs and web services. Have knowledge of RESTful/RPC APIs.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiar with various databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB or similar. Understanding of performing CRUD operations, writing complex queries and database optimization.
- Good problem-solving skills and thinking patterns in system design.
- Deeply passionate about software coding/development and building great mobile/web applications
- Agile, quick self-learner, highly self-motivated with strong sense of product ownership and creative problem solver

【For Pay Transparency】Compensation Description (annually)

The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $137750 - $337250 annually.​

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.​
