Warehouse/Logistics Specialist

What you will be doing

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining warehouse operations to include preparing and receiving shipments, loading, and unloading truck, and updating inventory controls. Additional tasking will include reaching out to suppliers and compile information to keep informed on pricing trends, analyze vendors to determine lowest cost consistent with quality, reliability, and ability to meet required schedules. Responsibilities also include reconciling credit card and purchase order charges – work with finance to ensure accurate updating of transactions.

What you will need

• Ability to communicate with vendors and customers verbally and in writing
• Must be able to use current automated systems, follow procurement processes, and comply with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR).
• Managing inventory, surveying, pre-planning, forecasting, coordination, ordering, and pre-staging of equipment for deployments.
• Capable of performing project analysis and research, cable writing, and generating intelligence reports based on provided and researched data.
• Should be able to realize a good opportunity to get a better price, take initiative to recommend a solution and act to make it happen
• Have a forklift license or be able to obtain one
• Experience with Microsoft products
• Ability to lift and move 35 pounds

Clearance: Must have an active TS/SCI with an appropriate Polygraph

Salary range: 
$129,021.00 - $243,984.00 (Annually)*
