About the role

Ginkgo Bioworks is a publicly traded (NYSE: $DNA), high-growth biotechnology company based in Boston’s Seaport District, that is redesigning the living world to solve some of the globe’s growing challenges in health, energy, food, material, and more. Our mission to “make biology easier to engineer” is poised to disrupt multiple industries by leveraging our innovative data, automation, and scale capabilities in biological engineering.
Ginkgo believes that if we are to grow a thriving, sustainable bioeconomy, we must also grow a new market in biosecurity. Our biosecurity and public health initiative, Concentric by Ginkgo, launched a nationwide emergency response to the COVID-19 pandemic, providing end-to-end pathogen monitoring services to schools, communities, and travelers. As we continue to scale Concentric, our work is also evolving into new and exciting directions, from global expansion to the integration of new technologies and capabilities, including our Traveler-Based Genomic Surveillance Plan with the CDC.
As a Senior Director, you will be a core part of the Commercial team at Ginkgo as we scale Concentric. Broadly, the team includes revenue generation, account development and a delivery assurance focus - and your role will be focused on driving and closing on new business opportunities which support the business unit’s overall strategy and OKRs. As we launch innovative biosecurity capabilities in new markets, your initiative, entrepreneurship, leadership and teamwork will shine as you adapt this offering to meet customer needs. By developing and driving relationships with key accounts and working cross functionally to ensure customer success and the delivery of our services, you will expand relationships into lasting partnerships. As issues arise, you will find creative solutions and ensure customer success - learning from each customer and flowing this thinking back into service development.  Your role will be varied and high impact, and a critical part of our biosecurity solution.  If you have a desire to make an impact as part of a high-growth, transformational company, apply now to join our high performance team!
