What You'll Do: The Director serves as the primary leader of the Center for Congregational Health®, (the official DBA of FaithHealth Innovations, Inc.), a wholly owned subsidiary of Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center (AHWFBMC) and part of the FaithHealth Division. The Director is also accountable to the Board of Trustees of the Center for Congregational Health (FaithHealth Innovations, Inc.) for the operations of the corporation. The Director is responsible for the development and oversight of strategy, designing structure, managing resources, and overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Center for Congregational Health. This includes all programs and services, both internal and external nationwide. The Director oversees the development and delivery of resources to support the health and well-being of faith communities and supports the enterprise's community faith partnership endeavors.

• Hospital Standards: Adheres to the general hospital standards to promote a cooperative work environment by utilizing communication skills, interpersonal relationships and team building.  Follows hospital policies and procedures, follows departmental policies and procedures, contributes to the overall quality of services, assumes responsibility for keeping informed about changes in policies and procedures.
• Subsidiary Management: The Director is accountable to the board of directors of the Center for Congregational Health (FaithHealth Innovations, Inc.) and serves as the primary liaison between the Center for Congregational Health and the board of FaithHealth Innovations, Inc. 
• Leadership and Strategy Development: The Director is responsible for developing and implementing strategic plans that align with the Center for Congregational Health's mission and goals. This includes setting long-term objectives, designing organizational structures, and managing resources effectively.
• Supervision and Professional Networks: The Director supervises Center employees and oversees the creation, organization, and implementation of national professional networks for coaching, consulting, and interim ministry. This involves establishing professional standards, approving applicants, creating memorandums of understanding/agreement for partners, and developing and administering evaluation processes.
• Enterprise and Community Engagement: The Director supports the enterprise in developing and maintaining connections with faith communities and faith-connected nonprofits. This includes creating and overseeing training and materials to strengthen faith community partners and leaders.
• External Partnerships and Resource Provision: The Director builds healthy relationships with external partners for the delivery of services and provides resources for clients and partners. This includes collaboration with institutions such as the School of Divinity at Wake Forest University, Campbell University, Catawba College, Duke Divinity School, Shaw Divinity School, Hood Theological Seminary, Baptist Women in Ministry, Pinnacle Leadership Associates, and others nationwide.
• Grant Management: The Director proposes, applies for, and manages grants as a sole recipient or in partnership with other grant recipients. This includes directing the design and implementation of grant-funded programs, developing structures, resources, and programs to fulfill grant objectives, tracking expenditures, negotiating agreements/contracts, writing reports, and communicating with grantors.
• Collaborative Strategy Development:  The Director collaborates with partners, contractors, and constituents to develop adaptive and relevant strategies, structures, resources, and programs that sustain the work of providing care for congregations, leaders, and clergy.
