About You

We’re looking for a Finance Specialist to join our team and play a key role in keeping our financial engine running smoothly. If you’re highly organised, love numbers, and want to be part of a fast-paced startup environment, we’d love to hear from you.

Must-haves:

• You are detail-oriented and learn quickly;
• You feel at ease managing multiple priorities while meeting tight deadlines;
• You are highly organised, analytical, and take pride in your accuracy;
• You have a degree in Management, Economics, or a related field;
• You speak both Portuguese and English fluently (Spanish and/or Italian are a plus);
• You have 2 years of relevant experience, ideally in a fast-paced or startup environment;
• You have great communication skills and enjoy collaborating with different teams.

The Role

As a Finance Specialist, you’ll be working across core financial operations, helping us maintain accuracy, compliance, and operational excellence.

On a typical day, you'll

• Manage the full accounts receivable cycle with a strategic mindset and hands-on approach, ensuring timely collections, maintaining accurate records, supporting customer relationships, and continuously improving processes in collaboration with other teams;
• Handle and resolve client inquiries namely related to billing and payments through the ticketing system, ensuring timely, accurate, and customer-focused communication;
• Prepare and gather accounting information, liaise with external accountants, auditors and consultants to ensure high-quality accounting and reporting standards;
• Support month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations, as well as contribute to the preparation and analysis of financial reports to ensure accuracy and compliance;
• Continuously identify opportunities to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency.

Salary range

Our offers are based on the annual salary cost for the company. For this position, we have a budget of 28.000€ to 31.000€ - translating to everyday language, it would be a total gross package of 20.000€ to 23.000€ (plus meal allowance, health insurance and other benefits).
