About the role

Description

The Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at the University of Virginia is seeking a full-time tenure ineligible critical care physician at the rank of Instructor, Assistant Professor, or Associate Professor.  Rank and compensation are contingent upon qualifications, experience, and scholarly achievement.

Clinical service responsibilities will be divided among assignments caring for the critically ill and managing patients in oupatient clinics. This position will be involved with teaching pulmomary fellows, residents and medical students during consult services and inpatient services.

 

Qualifications

Candidates must have a MD degree or equivalent, be board-certified or board eligible in Internal Medicine and Pulmonary/Critical Care by appointment start date. Strong interpersonal skills and excellence in patient care and teaching is expected.
