The COMET contract provides overall management and implementation of ground systems capabilities, flight hardware processing, and launch operations at NASA's Kennedy Space Center (KSC) in Florida. These tasks will support the International Space Station, Ground Systems Development and Operations, and the Space Launch System, Orion Multi-Purpose Crew Vehicle, and Launch Services programs.

 

Responsibilities

Areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to:

·       Lead the recruitment process across the COMET contract.

·       Provide best practices and guidance in partnership with teammates to ensure that we acquire top talent in the industry.

·       Lead efforts to build or local market branding as a prominent employer, utilizing creative strategies to attract and recruit.

·       Serve as functional lead for recruiting, collaborate with recruiters and offer mentorship and develop best practices for the team and the hiring managers.

·       Work closely with hiring managers to build impactful relationships by understanding recruitment needs, establishing priorities, and streamlining processes while providing expertise in talent acquisition practices.

·       Drive enhancement to time-to-fill metrics by utilizing effective recruiting tools and platforms.

·       Champion diversity and inclusion in recruitment practices to ensure we have robust and diverse talent pipelines.

·       Develop and build long-term relationships with relevant colleges and participate in career events.

·       Perform other related duties as assigned.

 

Here's What You'll Need:

 

The candidate must possess a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from an accredited institution, and at least ten (10) years of experience; and/or an advanced degree.

Job Requirements

·       If offered a position, proof of U.S. Citizenship or Legal Permanent Resident/Green Card holder of the United States is required.

 

Physical Requirements

·       Position may involve extended periods of sitting.

·       Position is located on a hazardous testing facility; must be able to quickly evacuate buildings in the event of an emergency.

·       May be required to work inside and outside
