The Senior Talent Acquisition Partner (Sr. TAP) is a key member of the Talent Acquisition team, responsible for recruiting high-priority roles and serving as a strategic advisor to hiring managers and regional leaders. This role combines advanced recruiting skills with a consultative approach, working closely with Regional Vice Presidents (RVPs) and Talent Acquisition leadership to align hiring strategies with business goals. The Sr. TAP proactively builds a pipeline of qualified candidates through traditional and innovative sourcing methods, while also analyzing hiring trends and addressing potential challenges. By fostering strong partnerships and providing insights into market dynamics, the Sr. TAP enhances the overall candidate experience and helps drive continuous improvements in the recruitment process. This role is essential for attracting and securing top talent in a competitive market, supporting the organization’s broader talent objectives.
Essential Functions
- Oversee recruitment for high-priority requisitions in assigned regions, ensuring proactive outreach and effective management of candidate pipelines to meet critical business needs.
- Conduct intake meetings with hiring managers to clarify role requirements and ideal candidate profiles, aligning recruitment strategies to ensure swift and quality hires.
- Build and maintain a robust network of potential candidates through proactive market research, relationship management, and innovative sourcing techniques.
- Partner closely with Regional Vice Presidents (RVPs) and Talent Acquisition (TA) leadership to discuss hiring trends, address regional challenges, and develop tailored strategies for each high-priority role.
- Source passive candidates through targeted outreach, including email campaigns, calls, networking, and digital platforms like LinkedIn and Indeed, to cultivate a diverse talent pipeline.
- Develop and execute strategic recruiting plans with clear objectives, timelines, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with organizational goals for high-priority positions.
- Ensure accurate and timely data entry in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to uphold data integrity, compliance standards, and efficient tracking of candidate information.
- Meet or exceed key performance metrics, such as time-to-fill, offer acceptance rates, and candidate satisfaction, consistently delivering a positive hiring experience.
- Mentor and provide guidance to Talent Acquisition Partners (TAPs) and Talent Acquisition Specialists (TASs), fostering skill development and growth within the team.
- Train new employees on recruiting processes and best practices as needed, ensuring they are well-equipped to contribute effectively to the team’s goals.
- Represent the organization at industry and university events to enhance brand visibility and build future talent pipelines.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across Talent Acquisition, HR, and Operations to ensure an aligned, cohesive approach to recruitment strategies and a seamless candidate experience.
Required Skills & Abilities
- Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to effectively partner with stakeholders, including hiring managers, RVPs, and TA leadership, to align recruiting efforts with business needs.
- Advanced sourcing and networking skills, including proficiency with digital platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, Indeed) and creative methods to attract passive candidates.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of clearly conveying role expectations and providing consultative support throughout the recruitment process.
- Strategic thinking with the ability to analyze hiring trends, anticipate challenges, and adapt recruiting plans accordingly.
- High level of organization and time management, able to prioritize multiple high-priority requisitions and manage deadlines effectively.
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to overcoming recruitment obstacles and optimizing the candidate pipeline.
- Commitment to data accuracy and attention to detail, ensuring data integrity within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and compliance with hiring standards.
- Goal-oriented mindset, driven to meet or exceed performance metrics, such as time-to-fill, offer acceptance rates, and candidate satisfaction.
- Mentorship and coaching skills, with the ability to guide TAPs and TASs in their professional development and provide training as needed.
- Adaptability and flexibility in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, able to manage shifting priorities and demands effectively.
- Ability to travel anywhere from 10% to 20% of the time
